The Gordon Research Seminar on Fibronectin, Integrins and Related Molecules aims to familiarize attendees with the complexities and key outstanding questions in extracellular matrix research. This seminar will complement the following Gordon Research Conference by stimulating discussion amongst graduate students, post-docs and early career researchers on the role and mechanisms of cell-matrix interactions in development, homeostasis and disease. This will encompass a number of diverse fields from molecular, cellular and developmental biology to biochemistry and pathology. Professor Fiona Watt will deliver the opening keynote address and we will conclude with a discussion panel and mentorship from senior speakers on how to get ahead in science focusing on career progression, publishing and scientific integrity. The meeting is conducted in an informal setting and provides a unique opportunity for participants with comparable levels of experience to present unpublished data, exchange ideas and network with like-minded peers. We look forward to receiving your abstracts!
